many errors in ARMA2OA.RPT

I get many errors in my arma2oa.rpt. after some time of online playing the game freeze and crashes to desktop.

I'm playing the new 1.55 combined

Hello,

What are your computer specs?

When does the game crash or freeze, on mp, sp, on a server, in the editor?

Do you play with any mods?

There are also many posts discussing crashes, and freezes should try to search in the future.

As for Rpt I dont know about anyone else but it dont tell me anything, can you post the rpt and put it in a spoiler,

or upload it some where and post a link?

I get the same thing (no XEH/CBA used), from mission start.

After a while (depends on settings, using higher HDR it takes only minutes) I get 2-4FPS and massive writing to rpt about some memory stuff (not in the quote). Started with the last two betas I think, and ended up in the 1.55 version.

I made a new .rpt for you.

playing without mods, coop, surly in mp.

I'm playing ArmA2 with Arrowhead and full BAF

this time I joined a domination2

till line 10199 it was the 5 min mp game...behind is from sp. so I think this messages only occures if I'm in mp.

arma2oa.rpt

my system in short:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000

4GB RAM

GeForce GT 240M

it is a Laptop

or a DxDiag.txt:

yesterday I had a crash with a message like: "Buffer to small - nowhere to write the data"

the game freezed and crashed. rpt had over 24mb. there was no other message before this buffer than the ones I get constantly. but I had deleted this rpt :o

I cant say the degrieing would cause a crash or a free but something wrong with it anyways.

I'm thinking its the new patch, other the that your RPT isn't really saying much, just the typical debug stuff, as far as I know.

I'm looking for lines where it says your missing addons and what not, or other things.

Can you post your target line?

you can find it by right clicking your desktop icon, then properties,a nd its the line at the top says target to the lieft of the box.

Sometimes if you load up with some codes depending on your computer setup you can run into issues, but Im thinking its the patch, I really cant say for sure.

Error would happen to be about BUFFER not having space to write would it?

If so I've had the same thing where the game writes thousands and thousands of lines in the RPT with a message about buffer space, so much so that the game EXE pauses for extensive amounts of time.

The RPT can quickly reach 125MB+ within minutes. I have only begun experiencing this issue with the NEW patch.

I had one of these, but found that i could get out of it by going to Map view with "M" and then back to 3d.

these errors I hadn't seen before...think they are related to the custom domination2 wich was running n the server

yes this buffer-thing came, too. but I thought that the other messages cause problems, too.

I had one of these, but found that i could get out of it by going to Map view with "M" and then back to 3d.

If I'm right this clears your graphic memory like the "flash" thing.

thank you for your help...looks like the errors wich afraid me are "normal" :D
