Error update BAF 1.01

The update failed to produce a valid dubbing_baf.pbo.bi.bisign. What it did do is added a dubbing_baf.pbo.bisign. Both files are wrong and still dated 26th August, not Nov 11. This results in automatic kick from a 1.55 dedicated server, which had BAF Lite and has a proper nov 11 dubbing bisign.

Can we expect a fix anytime soon?

It's a solution as I wouldn't expect another update today.

But you can also wait till tomorrow if it isn't that important.

The BIS guys are most likely already at home and enjoying their spare time :P

Have you all tried the OA 1.55 patch i think the BAF files are in there aswell. Maybe OA wants to be patched before BAF

I would guess that's a sensible course of action, BAF needed OA to be patched before installation when it came out so patching to 1.55 and updating the common files first would make sense.

if You own ARMA 2: BAF (because it affected only BAF full)

then go here http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=109872

and redownload the 1.01 ARMA 2: BAF patch (3.5MB only) and install again

the proper signature file will be installed and You can play MP fine
