ACE 1.6 (Advanced Combat Enviroment) for OA/CO

Im having that issue with NVG too. On all maps. (At least takistan and shapur) But i cant tell how to reproduce it... its a random phenomenon. Restarting the NVG never solved it for me.

Okay, I simply cannot update ACE to the latest release. SixUpdater refuses to work no matter what I do, always throwing out errors or "cannot find server" messages, using the GUI or console method, god knows why.

AddonSync2009 seems to work except that every Auto-Config URL I try appears to be unresponsive or disappeared.

What on earth should I do?

I tried with "utes" and it was fine so It may be related to the map, could you try with "proving grounds" ?

I'm guessing you used page-up and down to adjust the NVG?

Please add details to the ticket, incl rpt, and if possible, a repro mission where you have had the problem.

Once it actually opens the web interface, there are no presets to select from, so yeah...

Yep, firewall / security suite problem. Ruby.exe not allowed to connect, but probably the others neither.

Perhaps incompatibility with your security suite, hard to tell, please follow bug reporting instructions and create a ticket with requested details http://dev-heaven.net/projects/six-arma-updater/issues/new, thanks.

Oops, got it working, was a few leftover processes from BitDefender post-uninstall that were in the way. Sorry for wasting your time. Great mod, btw.

I recently downloaded ACE. I have edited the clientside config file in arma2>userconfig>ace>ace_clientside_config.hpp

Still, I can't use earplugs, goggles, Huntir. Nothing.

Any ideas? I use windows 7 if that has anything to do with it. And I have arma2 & arma 2 OA. Including all the expansions.

Best just use ACE_Clippi.exe included with @ACE.

Also check your rpt file for hint on what the name should be, it alerts you.

HuntIR has nothing to do with it though. Perhaps you are running a mod combination that is problematic, or have older versions of CBA addons laying around or so.

LoL, it did not work. I searched for cba or extended and found nothing. I only have the @CBA folder which I downloaded just minutes ago.

Huntir still does not work. I can't deploy claymores, mg's. Nothing.

Is this right?

And is the navy seals included? In groups there is a group called navy seals or something. Then you can select Aor1 version or Aor2. Still when you put them they turn into regular Marine FR units.

I did troubleshoot this, such as loading just ace with cba, without cba, without mods, with mods. But I still get this same error.

"Include file x\cba\addons\main\script_eventhandlers.hpp not found."

Delete @CBA folder, delete all CBA_** addons from all loaded mod-folders.

Get the latest version of CBA.

Yes I went over this for a few days with someone earlier in this thread.

De-activate every mod folder except ACE2 stuff and CBA then try it. Also remove every non-A2 .pbo from the main AddOns directory. You have an old version of XEH or CBA some where.

When is ACE going to clean all the medic supplies, backpacks and flares from the Armory? They show up under every category, and it's a pain to scroll past them all.

Before I make a ticket about it, I was wondering, is it possible to change between IR laser and flashlight on the M4's?

I think it could be a cool feature if it isn't implemented.
