can't join MP

I've just installed Arma 2 and patched it to 1.07.

When I go to multiplayer, servers are displayed properly, mission files do download when required, and MP game lobby also works.

However, when the actual game is just about to begin, I'm thrown back to the server list. I'm not seeing any error messages.

I've set my router to keep my LAN address in DMZ and I've tried turning off the firewall and anti-virus.

Patch 1.00 to 1.07 does not include BattlEye.

I strongly recommend you Pvp as in Arma2 it's marvelous.

Probably because it was included on the ArmA2 DVD. If you had downloaded it from Sprocket or Steam I cannot comment on that, but I would assume you would have had the option to install it when you were installing the game itself.

May that be the reason that I updated to the newest patch and most of the servers are not at the moment?

I found one server which works fine... but the remaining ones do not.

today is patch day so a lot of people/servers will be changing over, it will settle down tomorrow

PROBLEM: Signature file is missing/wrong causing kicks from sig check enabled servers.

Doesn't work for our BAF Lite server, the patch won't install as it lacks BAF Full.

Means users with BAF Lite are able to join, but not users with BAF Full. We don't attract a lot of players (server is basically just for mission testing, and not properly setup), but recent couple of days many have attempted to join I guess just in sheer desperation.

Uhm, or is it just for BAF Full users, and those haven't upgraded yet?

Yes, exactly. The problem is not server side but client side for BAF Full only. Fix is simple: re-download BAF Patch 1.01 (3 MB) and apply it again.

I'm having problems joining some servers, i join and get kicked even before i have connected with the server, i have baf full and the servers showing green with a 1.55 match.

closing as original poster posted about 1.07 while we at 1.08 now and others about BE issue which is now resolved by BE update
