Double Doppler 10 Posted October 19, 2010 (edited) Ok, I have been having this problem for quite some time now. I have multiple connection errors concerning Arma 2 and OA. First, my ping should be ok, I am playing on close servers and not downloading anything on my internet. But, the ping says 500 or even 900! It happens rarely at the moment, but, with the problems im getting at the moment, it might become more of a serious problem. Second, I found an excessively large desync of 4000+ on one Arrowhead server and it happned again sometime after that. Third, the most annoying is the connection errors that I keep on getting. I join a server (HGs Arma 2 for instance, German and quite close to my country, UK), and I get choppy lag (IE; The game runs very smoothly but the fps lowers a bit for a second, then goes back to normal. It does this every 5 seconds at a steady pace and eventually results in a "You were kicked off game" message that returns me to the MP server list. Fourth, I have another connection error also very annoying that happens on certain servers (like RPmods Chernarus Life). The connection chain appears yellow and then goes in the space of a second. Then, after 5 seconds, it reappears again and stays for 2 seconds. Then, it reappears and goes away just like last time. After about a minute or so the chain turns red and goes away. Then the same thing happens and this time, I get a "You were kicked off game" or a "Connection with the Host has been lost". I refresh the server list and the problem is totally CLIENT. Everyone is playing fine when I rejoin but these problems keep nagging me everytime I play! PS: Another problem with a question: If me and a friend are playing in the same building using the same connection on the same server, does that result in connection errors? Not saying that these errors appear because of that (I get them all the time playing online on my own). I thought I would post all these connection errors together in one post as I think that they might be linked.
