Trouble with Sattellite map create by L3DT

Hi all,

I create a sat map (8192*8192) for my island (1024*1024: size 50).

All the plain look good but the mountain part look horrible.

The border of the sat texture of the mountain part is pixelized!! :eek:

yes looks weird. I would suggest using a much larger Sat map resolution since your map is gonna be 51*51km big... im to lazy to calculate but one pixel of your satmap is some dozen squaremeters in your map with your settings.

Yup... a glance at the figures is enough to see that your result is definitely going to appear awful pixellated at that scale... the trial version of L3DT Pro will output 20480x20480 with (relative) ease - try that - it'll make your island file a lot bigger, but it'll certainly help with detail - a bit... (20480 should give you... eeeh... 1pix = 2.5m ???

I export my map, from L3DT, in mosaic, my question:

Is there a method to compile this png together with a little programm without compile them one by one?

erm, why dont you export them from L3DT as one single Highres file? feature is there...

just go export map and make a cross in re-size for export. Enter your wanted values and click okay.

Because I can't, there are an error when I try to do this :(

Thats a failure of space in either swap file or memory. Anyway, save it in tiles. The option is there. You can easy glue them back together with photoshop or what ever you use.
