langgis08 10 Posted October 13, 2010 thx BIS beast ;) beta-frequency rises ... let's bet on 1.55 next days ? (and me on the islas baleares for vacation, this could become a cool welcome-home-gift in 2 weeks :D)

Richey79 10 Posted October 13, 2010 (edited) Thanks. :)But I noticed the custom-voices are broken now. All (custom) voices played with "say" or "playsound" and probably with other commands, cut in few seconds after played very disjointed. Only the official teamradio seems to work normal. Edit: It seems like all voicefiles under CfgSounds are broken (or say/playsound-commans are broken). CfgRadio and CfgMusic works good. Thanks for noticing. Fixed in 74097 Probably fixed, too. An impotent whinge aimed at ATI: I'm sure I still get significantly better performance on a 4670x2 by naming the ArmaOA.exe 'Arma2.exe'. This is using the latest CrossFire profiles. Bloody pain that I have to rename it every time, whereas ATI could have simply updated the ArmaOA.exe profile, but no ... they're too busy tweaking the profiles to give Medal of Honor an extra couple of FPS, or improving Crysis' benchmark stats on their flagship cards. Grizzle 0 Posted October 13, 2010 An impotent whinge aimed at ATI: Completely off topic, but in what country is 'whine' spelled 'whinge'. I've seen it an awful lot all over the net and best I can assume is the UK. Am I right?

dmarkwick 261 Posted October 13, 2010 Completely off topic, but in what country is 'whine' spelled 'whinge'. I've seen it an awful lot all over the net and best I can assume is the UK. Am I right? Completely different word :) Whine is pronounced wine, whinge is pronounced winj. Both words do mean approximately the same thing though :) "He went off down the street whinging & whining". Likewise, I'm still using 10.04 with my 4870x2 as it performs much better than any other drivers since. I also have to rename the .exe to get it to work at all
KeyCat 131 Posted October 13, 2010 Noticed that now it's the driver in tank/APC who commands the gunner to fire/hold fire and not the commander, anyone else experiencing this? /KC
Muahaha 10 Posted October 14, 2010 This beta fixes all map's collision detection func or only on Utes? So I would guess no more "jumping for joy" vehicles anymore?
