add line to arma2oa.cfg file

getTerrainHeightASL [(coords)]; // returns (in meters) terrain height above sea level e.g. z = getTerrainHeightASL [x,y];

hostMission [Config,display]; //Host the MP mission described by config class. Should be called as reaction to some UI action in some dialog.

I'm liking these fixes, BIS! Great patch! :D

I think HostMission will launch Arma 2 and automatically create a server and host the mission you tell it to.

Still getting very bad "shuddering" when raising a lowered rifle. CO, no mods. Get the same regardless of unit or rifle.

Z-Fighting fix is awesome, but seems to not work when prone. :confused:

While standing or kneeling it works great, but when lying on the ground, major flickering returns. Still testing.

Had to try this one out ASAP!

Z-fighting is greatly reduced while standing or crouching but as soon as I go prone and look at the same objects in scope/binocs the Z-fighting/flickering is back with a vengance... Tried on both Chernarus and Takistan A2OA, no mods.

A bit hard to show in screen shots (but easy to reproduce in game)...

Also tested to use the optics in tanks/APC/etc. and if the vechile standing still the Z-fighting/flickering is now barely notable - good work!

Just had a quick test before but the alpha bug was history for me and fog seems to work OK (maybe not as dense as I remember but no artifacts at least)! Now we can have thoose spooky nightmissions back :D

If BIS just nail the Z-fighting in prone position (and I'm sure they do) this is a winner IMO!

Set a radio trigger with the onActivate field

5 setFog 1

for full fog :)

Do supersonic cracks from bullets still play out of order in OA? Or put more accurately, do muzzle blasts still travel at the speed of light 6 times out of 10? There is no longer a ticket regarding this on devheaven, so does that mean that it is fixed?

OA has been out for a long time now, so someone must have noticed.

And if it isn't fixed and BI sorts it out in a beta patch, I will freaking buy OA just for that.
