Guest Posted May 4, 2002 Pipe bombs injure 5 in Midwest, more threatened Five people were wounded Friday when pipe bombs placed in rural mailboxes in Illinois and Iowa exploded, prompting the U.S. Postal Service to call carriers back and suspend Saturday delivery service in the area.
