Light reflection in scope

Sometimes when aiming towards a light source the reflections on the sight make it impossible to aim properly.

The question is whether is it possible to "remove" the scope or the reflex-sight for a moment and leave only the original ironsight on the weapon.

No,the sight is set in the model.So changing the sight means changing the whole weapon.

But a bunch of weapons in OA have a cqb-sight, this comes with the "/" key.

I remember in arma1 the red dot sights had this effect simulated really well, not sure about A2 though, think it's much less noticeable. Also to confirm Baraka's post; it's currently not possible to simulate this in sniper scopes. sorry misread slightly, na it ain't possible to remove the customize your weapon on the move :(

Maybe have a look at this Addon: GDT MOD Sun, haven´t tested it for my own yet,also can´t say if it change anything in OA\CO.
