Filming/Viewing yourself from a different perpective

Recommended Posts

I've seen movies on youtube where people have taken a vehicle and destroyed stuff with it and then shot movies from a different perspective (i.e being on the ground and seeing a replay of your own chopper taking something down)

How is this done?

Hello by the way

I'm not certain as I haven't really looked into it but I believe you have to use script. Just search the forum for cameras.sqf & you should find out more.

Hope that helps, at least until someone with experience using camera.sqf comes along!

this exec "camera.sqf"

or sqs..

dunnow, but in some unit's parameter box and it will make you get this camera..

It's in the game no special script needed for download.

Sorry but you cant make a "replay" of yourself playing.

You could if you had two computers with arma installed on each via MP. One PC to play, and the other connected to the same session tracking with the camera script.

You could do what you wanted to do with the new unit capture thing enabled, then record the AI doing exactly what you did when it runs the unit capture you recorded.
