Which to buy??

Hello all... I am new to ArmA 2 and am thinking about picking this up but I am wondering if I should start with the first Arma2 or just pick up Arma2:OA. And if I pick up OA, will it have most or all of the vehicles, weapons ex... from the first Arma2? Thanks for any input. :)

Take the Combined Operations.

From Sprocket (all money to BIS!):

ArmA 2 only = € 35.46

Arrowhead Only (+ Low resolution BAF) = € 29.90

Combined Ops (A2+OA + Low resolution BAF) = € 39.99

From Steam (may give you headache from updates and managing mods):

ArmA 2 only = $39

Arrowhead Only (+ Low resolution BAF) = $39

Combined Ops (A2+OA + Low resolution BAF) = $49

What makes you think sprocket does not earn money on this? And to answer your question, I would get OA first then ARMA2 too because ARMA2 has a lot more units weapons and a very nice eastern european forested terrain.

If he gets OA first then ARMA2 it will cost him a lot more that makes no sense what so ever.

Just get Combined ops and be done with it.

If you like ARMA series etc then you will not be dissapointed with Combined ops.

Oh and get BAF if ya have the moneys I have it and its good.

As everyone else said, CO is the way to go, and through Sprocket if you decide to download it instead of store purchase.

And like vilas said, the original OFP still has some magic to it. I still play it every now and then.

Get a few friends together playing some OFP and it's still a blast all these years later. :D
