Where are those script?

Sorry for my noobness. Where are those script or .sqf or whatever you guys are talking about? I am using window 7. Most guide said put the script inside your mission directory, where is it? Thank you.

or

This "C:\Users\name\Documents\ArmA 2\missions"?

Both are empty and my mission is nowhere here...

You have to save the mission in the editor first.

And don't put any scripts into the mission directory but in the directory of your mission. This is not equal as every deitorsaved mission creates it's own folder inside the above missions folder. So if you save a mission on Utes as "MyMission" you will get a folder named "MyMission.Utes" where the scripts finally goes in to.

Save mission as MPmission, eh? I see...

No, this will export your mission as it is meant ready to play. When click on save, just give it a name but don't change the other thing (can't remember correct name). Export means, the mission is ready to be played. If you want to work later on this mission, do not export it.

it will be something like this:

for missions you saved in the editor will show here:

C:\Documents and Settings\your name\My Documents\ArmA 2\missions

for missions you saved in the mp editor will show here:

C:\Documents and Settings\your name\My Documents\ArmA 2\mpmissions

If you make a mission in the editor (not the Mp editor) and save it and it shows up in your missions folder

like above, you can make that mission into an Mp mission, and edit it in the mp mission editor

by moving the mission folder to the mp missions folder.

Are you trying to create an Mp mission, SP mission, or a mission to play in the editor?

Differences in folders and where the files go when you save them:

Mission made in the editor

As seen above your mission will show up in the missions folder

mission made in the mp editor

As seen above your mission will show up in the mpmissions folder

Mission exported to sp

A mission built in the editor that is exported to SP will show up in your main Arma 2 (if your playing Arma2)

directory folder in the missions folder as a pbo file

mission exported to mp

A mission built in the editor that is exported to MP will show up in your main Arma 2 (if your playing Arma2)

directory folder in the mpmissions folder as a pbo file

Hope I didn't get carried away with that, but thats the

general idea and how the system works.
