Define Sight position

Recommended Posts

What i need to do that the Aim Animation goes to the scope.

Atm it moves to the downside of the Weapon.

Do i need chnage the model.cfg oder the config.cpp?

How i can adjust the muzzleflash, too?

How can i define the eyepoint in the Memory LoD?

How the point needs to be called "Eyepoint"? And the Point need an extra code or only the Memory point.

In the memory-LOD simply create an point (ins-key) and call it "eye".

This Point will be the position of your view when you use the scope-sight.

In your second picture this point is not given OR it´s somewhere under the grip.

If you will use the scope u need a second model for that. This will only have the scope. You have to write the config in that way, the player switch from weapon model to the scope model if you go to the scope view.

Try a look at the ArmA1 sample models, there you find all you need.

i bet my old socks that you have to change your X-Axes.

When you wanne look through your scope, set your point directly behind it.

But don´t forget what i said before: If you make a view without zooming it will be ok, if you make a zoom through your scope you will have a second model for that and an change in your config.

Btw: it looks like your scope don´t have a glass texture?

For what is the Fallschirmjägergewehr 42 for? WW2?

And how i can change the X Axes? With another eye point or how? Atm it only changes the Y.

Yeah i know that i will have to Model the zoom scope, but first i want a clear animation that goes to the scope.

Ich nehme mal an du bist Deutscher, also: Du änderst die z und die x Achse einfach im "left" bzw "front" Fenster im O2. Wenn du ein zweites "eye" dazugibst, woher soll das arme Spiel wissen welches du willst?

Setz dein eye-point einfach direkt hinter dein Visier.
