Ice dude you should totally make a Terminator addon pack to go with this.

This. We know it'd take time because of animations/coding, but it would be awesome to have. (A nice break from the highly realistic addons too)

OT: Will it be possible to have an Terminator Tank without a driver and gunner (unmanned),the uav´s for example just fly around the given waypoints.I mean,will the Engine allow an unmanned vehicle?

Well the ony thing close is the AH-6X. I don't think it would be possible to have somethin actually fight be unmanned.

I really like them. I would also like to see some versions without build-in backpacks so we can use the working backpacks that came with OA. :)

I wanted to ask you exactly the same. I wanted to use an backpack today, and hey? Its don't work^^ Would be nice if you could did this with next update.

Some old Trucks with MG`s on the her Back. Some old Buggy's or Jeeps. Old rusty Planes like an already destroyed but rebuild A10 or an old UH1 with M60 on it. ^^

Hah, I know where you got that last ones from :p . Yeah, a "ductaped" A-10 would look nice.

Backpacks will take awhile , I would have to read in (seen some tutorial) and there's still other projects.

Truly unmanned vehicles are possible, need to use a gamelogic or dummy with model "empty". I did that with bxbx malp package I ported from OFP to ArmA2.

Would need a script to destroy the dummy once the vehicle is badly damaged/destroyed and it'll work.

Vehicles look great. But I can't unzip that file you have in the first post? I've never had this problem before.

I do not think regular winzip can handle 7zip files. Try winrar, or get the 7zip installer.

It would be also great to see characters from S.T.A.L.K.E.R game in Arma2. They are very atmospheric looking.

Beards = Fail :-D

Better let them wear scarves, would look way better IMO.

And rusty guns while you're at the rusty textures. The normal guns look too clean.

But good work so far, I really love those guys!

Thanks guys, here's an update I could finally wrap up.

V 1.02

=============================

- added backpacks as equipable OA backpacks (thanks to StalkerGB for tut)

- added new Teamleader model using Johnys SF model/ArmA1 SF

- added rusty, used M4A1, M16A2 and M136

- M4A1 and M16A2 use flashlights

- new icons for the backpacks, weapons and magazine (2x duct taped Stanag ammo)

- some stuff I don't remember :p

Damn, looks like some Book of Eli type of units, got a Denzel Washington model. Lol, the units look awesome, downloading now. A vehicle pack and some government units would be great alongside these units to help create a post apocalyptic world.

Well I could have carefuly select the plastic stuff on the weapons or just rustify everything at once... :p

As I understand the grip and the stock on both rifles should be plastic? Or something more? Can include that in a next update.

Yep maybe when there's some more. I allready split the weapons and character pbos, but the weapons reference to one texture of the characters (the duct tape).

Thanks, yep Book of Eli, I watched that 2 weeks ago (plus The Road).

I worked on vehicles some time ago (see page 4), but dropped it when I couldn't get the damage textures/rmats/wreck to work.

I still have the model, but until BIS magically releases an ArmA2 vehicle sample model it will rust for some more time. With less time for modding I don't feel like scavenge thread after thread to find answers for my problems, like I did for creating these units.

The M16's receivers are made of 7075 aluminum alloy, its barrel, bolt, and bolt carrier of steel, and its handguards, pistol grip, and buttstock of plastics.

Thanks, a rpg mission sounds nice :bounce3: . Yep, nothing new on the vehicles. I've found some rust textures for the pickups, so 2 other vehicles could be included if there were sampe models.
