Trouble with Muzzle

Any ideas ? :butbut:

As you can see in this picture,when I shoot with any weapon (This is BIS weapon on picture) , muzzle flash override MY model. Can me somebody help? :(

MOVE BOTTOM\ MOVE TOP, does not help :(

+ADD

I forget, this model has a part with an alpha channel, If I delete it - problem disappears. but I really need this part :)

You need to setup your muzzle as proxy. In case you don't know how, i'm sure the forum search will help you (basicly you need to save your muzzle model as seperate file and then add a proxy and make sure the path to the model is correct). Needs to be done in all visible lods (res lods and view pilot).

Try that.

Open your image ("*. paa" and "*. tga") with "TexView2.exe", then save them to new ones (then BinPBO).

Normally, the problem disappears.

I had this problem some time ago.

By opening my images (*. paa "and" *. tga ") with "TexView2.exe", then saving them again, my problem had disappeared (I had created with photoshop).

image_co = DTX1 in "TexView2.exe"

image_nohq = DTX5 in "TexView2.exe"

...

You need to split the alpha part of your texture off onto a seperate texture. Its the only way to fix this issue.

Ah, in which case just move the part of the model with the alpha in it to a proxy. (The same way the rotor blurs on aircraft or muzzle flashes on weapons are done)
