senchi 0 Posted August 14, 2010 (edited) Any ideas ? :butbut: As you can see in this picture, when I shoot with any weapon (This is BIS weapon on picture) , muzzle flash override MY model. Can me somebody help? :( MOVE BOTTOM\ MOVE TOP, does not help :( +ADD I forget, this model has a part with an alpha channel, If I delete it - problem disappears. but I really need this part :) Edited August 15, 2010 by SenChi
DaSquade 0 Posted August 15, 2010 You need to setup your muzzle as proxy. In case you don't know how, i'm sure the forum search will help you (basicly you need to save your muzzle model as seperate file and then add a proxy and make sure the path to the model is correct). Needs to be done in all visible lods (res lods and view pilot).
senchi 0 Posted August 15, 2010 (edited) Muzzle mady by BIS. Its BIS weapon on picture. My object it wood Column. :) Edited August 15, 2010 by SenChi
akio 10 Posted August 15, 2010 Try that. Open your image ("*. paa" and "*. tga") with "TexView2.exe", then save them to new ones (then BinPBO). Normally, the problem disappears.
senchi 0 Posted August 15, 2010 I always use TexView2 and BinPBO )
akio 10 Posted August 15, 2010 (edited) I had this problem some time ago. By opening my images (*. paa "and" *. tga ") with "TexView2.exe", then saving them again, my problem had disappeared (I had created with photoshop). image_co = DTX1 in "TexView2.exe" image_nohq = DTX5 in "TexView2.exe" ... senchi 0 Posted August 15, 2010 No :( It doesn't help, I tried now :(
dm 9 Posted August 15, 2010 You need to split the alpha part of your texture off onto a seperate texture. Its the only way to fix this issue.
senchi 0 Posted August 15, 2010 But this is seperate texture o_O And sepetate part of object (this is cable)
dm 9 Posted August 15, 2010 Ah, in which case just move the part of the model with the alpha in it to a proxy. (The same way the rotor blurs on aircraft or muzzle flashes on weapons are done)
