Renameing Citys.

Hello, i was wondering if there is anyway to rename citys, or towns in Arma 2 to whatever you liked. I searched all over the fourms but could not find anything. Any help would be grateful.

u can't rename cities that already exist on the map unless you make a new map addon, but im not sure about the town spawn module.

I don't think it's possible.

When doing:

text (nearestLocation [getPos player,""])

it gives me Loy Manara when I'm close to it. But

(nearestLocation [getPos player,""]) setText "HELLO"

achieves nothing on an island placed location. It does work on a user created location though, that was created using createLocation.

How did the russians then change the text of the city, so it was in russian characters.
