nyles 11 Posted January 4, 2002 A propos, helis and water.. Isn't it true that a CH-47 (chinook) can somewhat land on water or at least won't sink as long as the rotors keep it somewhat up? I've seen several pictures where chinooks performed such maneuvers but its hard to tell if the rotors are rotating or not. Ohh..and the M2A2 is kinda amphibious as well right?
