47.301: 13:45:21 Player Rising_Citron connecting.

47.306: Ch(4):uRTT(28.14,2,1,28167,27,28.14)

48.618: 13:45:22 BattlEye Server: Player #0 Rising_Citron disconnected

48.619: 13:45:22 All users disconnected, waiting for users.

And when i try it from my pc there is no kick and the end of the netlog file is :

52.172: 13:29:38 Joueur Rising_Citron en cours de connexion.

52.225: Ch(4):uRTT(69.68,2,1,69699,23,69.68)

Hope you can help, big thanks

EDIT : i ve tried with battleye off but there is the kick anyway....

---------- Post added at 13:13 ---------- Previous post was at 13:04 ----------

i ve also looked at the RPT time stamp log file and it says :

Thanks for your concern, i ve decided to try a fresh ubuntu install because i ve followed so many turorials that i beleive something's messing somewhere.

Now that i know exactly what i have to install to run arma 3 server properly i think it will be ok.

Have to wait one hour for the new Os to be installed on the dedicated server and then let s install and hope it ll be fine.

I ll let you know if it works properly.

THANKS

I need to ask a quick question about this.

Is there a way to configure a server through TADST to show extended map info but only for friendly units?

I don't want the enemy units to ever show on the map like they do by default. But I want friendly units to show up, as well as the personal circle marker or something similar. Can this be done through TADST? How?

Thank you.

Tophe are you going to add the ability to ban players. Everytime I try to ban someone it won't work, and hackers destroy other players experiences when they play on the server because I can't ban them and I have the option to kick them off.

Hello all

I found TADST yesterday for the first time and it's awesome. I could launch a Arma 2 domination server very easily and have it working.

I'm having a problem doing the same thing with Arma 2 OA. After I launch the server, I cannot find it in the server list (in Arma 2 OA / multiplayer). Do you have any suggestions? Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the TADST settings?

thanks in advance

Great tool! Appreciate your work Tophe!

One question: Has anyone been able to implement an automatic server restart, lets say once every 6 hours or something?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Someone has an idea on how to add auto restarts to TADST? Probably integrate a Script File?

No, dunno how to make it work with TADST, but perhaps this could be something Tophe can do. :)

Guess it depends on him actually wanting this feature in the tool hehe, but it would be nice though.

What are your thoughts on this Tophe?

You could make the settings in TADST, then copy the launch parameters into a bat file and launch the server in any number of ways native to Windows. Using instsrv you can make arma server into a service and then you can simply restart the service either through windows AT command or something like that.

Awesome app! Just found it! By FAR the easiest way to quickly set up a dedi. Super nice for mission makers too, that want to test dedi compatibility before uploading a mission to separate server. Thank you for this!

I guess i am a bit late to the party, however it would be wonderful if you could help me out :)

So i have recently been using TADST for a private arma 3 server for me and my buddies, it has been working great but i was wondering if you could install Admin BEC or an admin tool. If you can a guide would be a god-send, this is not crucial as this is not a full blown server that many people join, but it would be helpful. I tried my best with BEC but the install was useless and confusing, and the admin tool i have no where to even begin :P Any help would be great! thanks

Thanks for all the nice feedback! I'm working, touring and studying (kick ass programming studies!) for the moment, so I hope to be able to get back to TADST real soon.

I'm planning on a restart on crash-option. I just have to figure out which windows hook I need to use to find out if the server is running or not (when it crashes it usually gives you a dialog, which means the process is still running).

I will also look into some 3rd party stuff, like BEC, RCON and BattlEye. I have no clue what these do or how they work so I'll have to read up on it.

Thanks again for all your support, and for using TADST. It was my very first real program so it's my baby.

Tophe, maybe you should get in touch with Fred of "Arma Server Monitor" fame. I believe he has a strong understanding of the link between Arma Servers and Windows.

Here is his thread:

http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?155881-Arma-Server-Monitor-(very-small-but-useful)

restarting a crashed server and restarting on a scheduled time would be a great addition to Tadst.

Tophe;

Feature request. The open RPT button on the first tab opens the rpt in notepad. Could it be made to open the rpt in the associated program? I use baretail, which is an excellent program for watching rpt live and it's highlighting function is invaluable. It would be great if pressing the 'open rpt' button opened the rpt in baretail, or whatever program is associated with .rpt rather than notepad.

Absolutely. I'll look into that for next release!

In arma 3, press the chat key / Then you should get a chat line at the bottom of your screen. In the chat line you first enter #login Then the admin password

Ex.

#login myadminpassword

Then press [ENTER]
