REMINDER: YOU NEED BOTH ARMA 2 AND OPERATION ARROWHEAD!

I've had several complaints that the mission is broken because you cannot see depots/camps, it's not broken, you are missing ArmA 2 content!

2.08 is nearing a finish, but the remaining few things are taking quite a long time due to the design required. Here's a quick image of a semi-final class menu:

Each of the class pictures are clickable buttons that will bring you to class specific features:

Team Leaders

* Calling in various Paratrooper drops

* Calling in a small tactical mortar strike

Medics

* Building a spawnpoint medic tent

* Calling in a paradropped ambulance

Engineers

* Access to an engineer construction menu

And a few more things that I won't mention at this point.

Bear with me for the final time before 2.08 comes out, I know some of you are anxious, but this cannot be rushed!

Version 2.08 is now officially out and it's a big one. There's a few things I have to mention first because this version has changed a lot from the previous versions.

- Players now have Military Ranks (Lieutenant, Captain, Major and Colonel)

- Players upgrade their rank with cash in the new "Class Menu"

- Each class (Team Leader, Medic and Engineer) now have specific extra abilities (see the "Class Menu")

- Those abilities will be modified by military rank of the unit

- Squad Sizes and Award Bounties (for killing units) are modified by military rank of unit

- Ranks are bound to the CHARACTER SLOT

- The old tactical assets menu is only accessible by the Commander

- Commander Assets use Supplies rather than cash

- There are much less towns now for better performance/More PvP

- UNO Troops are temp disabled till they can be optimized/improved

NOTE: I didn't update Chernarus to 2.08 because I feel that the state of the Chernarus version is not up to par, so I will take some time to get it into a better position before updating it.

This Warfare version got under my radar

PvP, class based.... mmh, smells win

Is there another server than US east coast running it?

If not, would a european based one be of any interested to some people?

Normally, #1Frontschweine is a server which got it running. Since a few weeks I wasn't able to connect to it though.

Besides of that, the TGW-server is the main-address to play the latest version of it. Me and my mates (from Germany) have no problems with the ping of it (a fluid gameplay without lags is possible generally).

I think we played a mission on your server in the past and got very good performance there. So-why not having an additional server based in Europe?! :)

What you should think about is the usage of server-keys. At the TGW-forums are listed all addons they allow to use on their server. In my opinion a very good mix of PvP-usable mods.

Whether there will be a version for ACE2?

Somebody else can port it to ACE2 if they want, but I personally do not like to play ACE2 so I will not be making a version myself.

Update: If you have downloaded 2.09, please go re-download it from Dev-Heaven, I hotfixed the German Stringtables not being updated.

So if you are german, this is very important to have :)

So I'm a total goof and messed up on the upgrade permissions (mixed Takistan with Zargabad by accident).

Also M.O.R has provided some more corrections to the german stringtable.

How difficult would it be to have AI team leaders reimplemented? I know this is primarily a PVP mission, but I enjoy the features this has, and I don't have enough friends to organize a match on Takistan without making it public (which usually leads to disaster one way or another).

Perhaps just have a separate version of the mission with AI team leaders enabled - I'd hate to interrupt your vision for the mission.
