meade95 0 Posted August 7, 2010 (edited) What is the proper procedure for saving your edited "profile" within Mydocuments / ARMA2 folder? 1. Open your profile with notepad. 2. It opens. You can edit differing values. 3. Click SAVE AS?? 4. When I save I want it to keep its original name of "Tyler". So I simply leave the current name it has "Tyler" save as "all files". Correct? What about file type? Do I leave it as the default which is an ANSI?? or should it be changed to a UTF-8 ?? Does it matter, as long as you save it as "all files" and not a txt?? THanks. Also, when I save it, you really can't add an extention, per say. After my name. For example if I save it as Tyler. It will appear as a file called Tyler.ArmA2/AOprofile. (I don't need to type the .ArmA2/AOprofile, it seems to do that automatically). Also when adjusting "precision" ratings. These are by default set to an 8 or 9 digit number. Be it, .55210000 or .8100006 (something along these lines). If you adjust these to say .45 (should you still keep it the 8/9 digit length??) meaning it would look like .45000000.
