In a mission can you make the civis favour the OPFOR instead of Blufor as i wana mek a kinda afghainsitan mission.

and also if you kill civis will they turn against you

In the editor click the storm cloud in the top right where the date/time is. On that new screen you can set loyalties down the bottom.

As for killing civ's I don't know that much about that part but the answer is no - you'd need a script of some kind.

myles I am writing just such a script which I'll be posting in a few days hopefully, where the civilians favour OPFOR (by revealing your location to OPFOR) and where killing them causes insurgent fireteams to spawn.

I'm hoping to make it available as a sort of template world on which larger missions can be built, so that the insurgency functions more as sort of general back ground / side missions.

Hoping to put some time on it this weekend.

Yup that's what I've done. I'm hooking it up so they'll only do that while there's a "warlord" in the area, so that there's an incentive to go hunt him down and kill him. I've got that part working.

What I'm trying to do now is set up the warlord so he runs the other way stealthily when he hears you're coming, so that you have to hunt all over the map for him the way NATO hunts all over the map for the Taliban leaders in Afghanistan.

All you need for the reveal is a trigger, blufor detected by civ, and then hook it up to some script code that reveals the location of your units to some OPFOR units.

No they don't walk up and talk to the OPFOR soldiers but the OPFOR soldiers get itchy and kind of know you're there whenever a civilian sees you, seems the best I can do easily.
