  1. 1. What are the most important sounds for you while using JSRS?

    • The weapon sounds!
    • The vehicle sounds!
    • Environmental sounds!
    • Explosions, Soniccracks, Bullethits, the sound of danger!
    • The script features like the "distance sounds"!
    • Everything combined! The whole Mod itself is important.

Hmm someone else have problems with the M16... works fine on my side. Be sure you have deleted all old version of jsrs before install the new version. Than put it into your arma2 and play it with modfolder or even an arma launcher ... be sure the JSRS_M16.pbo and tje JSRS_M16_c.pbo are really in the JSRS-W folder with an actual Date of 09.12- or even newer!

First time i tried this mod, and quite frankly it's a hell of a mod; but i'm getting an error each time i start a mission: 'sound/' is not a class (firelightduration accessed)

Best sound mod ive ever tried, thanks... unfortunately i also get the same error

I get this error too, doesn't seem to break anything but is annoying.

Awesome sounds though, never have I wanted a firefight to go on so long.

----I don't encounter such error. As Jarhead mentioned, delete "Stryker" related files in the JSRS_V folder.

Yeah, try disabling Zeus AI, there seems to be a conflict between the two mods.

I dont think its Zeus, i get the same error 'sound/' is not a class (firelightduration accessed) without zeus

nevermind then, I was using the information found 2 pages back, but seems like I missed the post edit.

It's weird though, I'm not getting the error and I load a ****load of mods.

I have a lot of mod using: ZeusAI, WarXF, McTrierOne, ANZINS, AT GUI, PropperAddons, SLX Mod, RUG DSAI, CBA and alot more... i have no errors so far, but im using 1.52 Version OA. I didn't installed the latest patch, maybe this i causing some trouble.

Just try to disable all other mods and start ArmaCO just with JSRS as only mod. So you can see if its JSRS as himself. Easy enough that you could think about it alone, right?^^

Hope this can tell you what causing the problems. If there is no problem so far, enable the next mod, if there no problem again, enable the next one and so on... easy...

I disabled all mods and run the Game with Jarheads sound mod and the last beta patch only and i get no error so far..:)

So it's definitely one of the thousands mods i play the game with thats causing this error..

i try to enable all mods step by step now, to find out which mod is getting in conflict with J.S.R.S. but this will take a little while...

Oh!..one note LJ

Think it would be easy to update the topic title in each mod update?

i.e now it says:

J.S.R.S. - Jarhead Sounds Redeployment Systems (beta 0.52)

..so people wont need to read ALL last pages to know whats going on..

;)

hi

I only have OA and BAF. Will JSRS 0.52 work with only them?

Some pages back folks were calling for a OA only one and it was suggested a separate DL would be made available.

I have really enjoyed all of the sounds in the latest two versions of the addon LJ but I was hoping that you could point me in the right direction as to which environment file I would need to "tweak" to reduce the wind noise currently being used.

I find it difficult to hear other ambient sounds and enemy footsteps etc sometimes due to the volume of the wind blowing away in the background, other than that it's a lovely addon, thanks for all your hard work putting it together.

Hmmm..

LJ ..sorry to bother you with that matter again..

but i was thinking as "suggestion" you can ask a moderator to remove

from title the version aka (beta whatever) so

the topic title is like :

"J.S.R.S. - Jarhead Sounds Redeployment Systems"

..and then YOU can manually "edit" and "update" the first page

with the latest version everytime.

*no offence eeh?..i just trying to help make this as less complicated :)

Haha, thats exactly what I ask an Admin! He's not online yet, but when, he can tell me. Thanks anyway mate.

Jarhead

First: How about a request. Or even the question of whether I want that!

Second: It's nice that I work for you!^^

I think about that ...

great stuff there, used ACE_SM before and changed yesterday to your mod,its definatly worth it

on a side note,my startline now looks extremly huuuuuuuuuuuge :

-mod=BAF;@CBA;@PROPER;@zeu_AI;@JSRS-E;@JSRS-V;@JSRS-VW;@JSRS-W

tried slapping them all in 1 folder but no worky then ... is there a easier solution running this or am i doing something wrong?
