Sorry to bother you with less relevant questions... maybe some FAQ could be made (or there is one already?)... Since I'm using ACE, but I want sounds from your mod, is there anything else that I need to delete (besides A10) in order to avoid ACE sounds over yours?

Arma has ben crashing and I never had this before really.

I updated my arma2 to 1.60 (running CO)

Thats a great idea. No, the A10 System ist enough so far. All other sounds were anyways from ACE items (like claymores) and / or the mod added which where previously there were none. The A10 overfly for example...

But sure, I can do add a kind of a FAQ into the readme!

Arma has ben crashing and I never had this before really.

I updated my arma2 to 1.60 (running CO)

What kind of Arma do you have? Seems like you missing addons like BAF, PMC or even OA! Did you merged the mod with previous releases?

Ooops^^ So I guess if there are anymore of this errors it seems like BIS updated some classes with the latest 1.60... I did not installed it so far... had the RC3B or so.

Anyone else got these errors?

EDIT: There must be something wrong with your installation! This is not a public error I guess, I see also WarFX istn running as well as CBA.... are you really sure you installed OA into the Arma 2 main folder? This will prevent these errors I hope!

The original ARMA 2 is launched without OA, even not updated to the latest version (1.11) included with 1.60. He's launching the original ARMA 2 1.09

1. Upgrade Arma2 to 1.11

Thats a great idea. No, the A10 System ist enough so far. All other sounds were anyways from ACE items (like claymores) and / or the mod added which where previously there were none. The A10 overfly for example...

But sure, I can do add a kind of a FAQ into the readme!

Something I don't get is I was up-to-date with all the official patches (not beta).

When I installed the 1.60 patch it said it has updated all the components succesfully..

Also I'm starting arma2 each time with a mod launcher where I can select to play with OA or without. (Otherwise it would be a nightmare to put the mods in the command line)

Do you know of a modlauncher wich is updated to launch CO?

Looks like I need a clean install.

What I find strange is that whenever the crash appears it goes as follows:

first I have a normal game

Screen blacks out and then the "receiving" comes up.

I get my game screen back but without any textures on anything

Few seconds and then it crashes.

But let's not turn this into a troubleshooting thread, let's get back on track

I would say, a fresh install shall fix it! Istall Arma 2 first into a clean folder, and OA into the same folder as well! Then the latest patch you' run fine ;)

And I use the Alpinestars - Arma II Launcher without any problems ;)

The new J.S.R.S patch and change to 128, made all the diffrents to me.

Just to make this clear AGAIN: I will release the JSRS ACE stuff soon! This will also cover the Gau8 from ACE, so you will not have to delete any ACE stuff! This is just a temporary advice!!!!

Are there any plans to change the D-30 firing sound (Both the static gun and the T-55's cannon use the sound I believe).

Even if you just make it use the T-72's firing sound, it'd be much better :)

Awesome, awesome sound mod. The depth of sound makes a massive difference to the ambience. Well done to you.

Constructively though the HMG's like the DshK and Browning, and the 12.7mm and the Barret do not sound heavy enough in my humble opinion... While the cracks sound a lot higher pitched and almost squeakyer(?) than the ones I've heard going over my head.

Yeah, as Munger already stated--both work well together. I've always used JSRS along with WarFX, both desert and newer woodland releases depending on map, and have not run into any issues that I've noticed. So you get great sounds combined with sexy visuals. :D

Note:

- The server with verifySignatures=1 will check both v1 and v2 signatures.

- With verifySignatures=2 the server will reject clients using any addons which are signed by v1 signatures only.

- The new signatures are understood by old clients and servers as well, but they do not provide any enhanced security for them

Unfortunately we cannot play on line, as joining our server doesn't except this addon. Even with the key in place. We still have to use VS=1 to continue with non V2 addons already existing on the server.Fixed. Edited by SnR
