Well just because he's doing it, it doesn't make it right. There was a big fuzz about it for ArmA1 when people did the same.

I understand this post like it's okay to decode and use BIS odol models in mods, but not okay to upload the decoded models (in mlod format) to a ftp? Clarification please?

binarization is an optimization process, not an encryption process. If BI didn't want anyone 'de-binarizing' their models, those pages wouldn't exist, and the P3Ds and/or pbos would of been encrypted, no?

personally, I don't see whats wrong if i give credit , don't release mlods, and don't backwards port. RH did/didn't do all of those things , and I suppose that's why no one else raised any of this in his WIP thread. Why would this be raised in my thread? any more discussion of this, make your own thread. I would be more than happy to join the conversation there :)

I for one would like to encourage you to continue working and develop your skills.

Don't worry about what other people want, make what you want. Its much much more rewarding in the end :). some people dont realize if it wasnt for people tinkering around then they would be stuck with default BIS content. On top of that they are too lazy to make thier own stuff so they come in your thread and spout crap from thier mouths trying to tell you what to make and do. yah the 2qt canteen with a hydaration tube you snaked up the back of yoru shirt.
