Gunter Severloh 3948 Posted August 5, 2010 It is possible that you may have to much Ram, remove 2-4 sticks and see what happens. Do you meet the requirements of the game? Official System Requirements Minimum specifications * 2 GHz or better Intel or AMD processor, or equivalent of. * 512 MB of memory. * nVidia Geforce FX with 128 MB RAM & Pixel Shader 2.0 or better * ATI Radeon 9500 with 128 MB of RAM & Pixel Shader 2.0 or better * 5 GB of Disk space (or more as needed for downloadable add-ons) * Windows 2000 or Windows XP. * DirectX 9.0c Recommended specifications * 3 GHz or better Intel or AMD processor, or equivalent of. * 1 GB memory * nVidia 6800 or better, with at least 256 MB of onboard RAM. * ATI X800 or better with at least 256 MB of onboard RAM * 5 GB of Disk space(or more as needed for downloadable add-ons) * Windows XP. * DirectX 9.0c Something to keep in mind for future references, is that always play the demo first before you buy a game thats if there is one. Demo should give you a general idea if the game will work on your system or not, plus the demo is not the full game meaning it dont have all the files that the full game requires. A test that you can do is see if the demo works, and if it does then it might give you an idea that maybe you dont have enough space on your machine for the full game or some other possible things. Demo http://www.armedassault.com/dwnl_demo.html hope that helps
ShadowY 0 Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) I have a similier problem , sorry to steal your thread but my disc wont read at all and its brand new.. what the hell Did you also tried the CD/DVD burner/reader(most people have one)? edit* I am not fully awake yet...try it on a other system from a friend or family Edited August 6, 2010 by ShadowY
desertjedi 3 Posted August 6, 2010 As ShadowY said, sometimes certain DVD readers will not work with certain game disks. The trick is simply to find one that does. When you said the game installs on another PC just fine, that's the first thing that comes to my mind.
