meade95 0 Posted July 30, 2010 I have yet to see where the "precisionFriendly / precisionEnemy" ratings are located? Even when I click on "my profile" and click edit.....such ratings don't appear anywhere? Is this something I need to adjust within Notepad?? Or is it only if you play MP? I know / and see where the skill ratings are in the editor and within "options" for AI....

If you drop them down to .5 or so, you see firefights that look like you see in youtube battle clips, a lot of shooting and not much hitting. Leave them at the default values for the wonderful 3 5.56mm rounds in your forehead from 100m snapshot :) RR

rick rawlings 2 Posted July 30, 2010 Oh. Ok. In my ARMA 2 /My Doc folder. What do I open this file with? What program? Copy it somewhere safe first. Then open the one in your Arma profile with notepad. Make your changes and save it with the correct extension and make sure "all files" is selected under the file types and the encoding is UTF-8 so it doesn't save as a text file. I have opened my profile changed some things.....hit the "save as" (instead of save)....anyway...I save as "all files" and under the UTF-8... However, it still appears within the file now as a "notebook" file it seems (at least in appearnce).?? Is this working correctly??? How do I create a new profile? If needed? ---------- Post added at 02:51 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:06 PM ---------- How do I save with the "correct extention"? Do I manually type that extension in?? Meaning...should my profile file when save be fully typed in like.... Meade.ArmA2/OAprofile ?
