b00tsy 27 Posted July 27, 2010 In ArmA2 when I aim at an enemy and shoot some rounds the rifle stays pointed at where I shot at. With OA after every single shot I have to reposition my rifle to shoot again. (trying to find the English word for it) Is there a way to disable that so that is like it was in ArmA2? No doubt it is implemented for extra realism, but I do not like it. It is fine when your sniping and firing single rounds, but with burst/automatic fire basically only the first bullet ends up where you aimed at. Fighting against AI that uses auto aim it seems not balanced that way as I have to spend a second to re-aim for the next shot, while the AI can empty an entire clip on me without having to re-aim. Beagle 674 Posted July 27, 2010 simply tuen doens A.I....theres no way to disable the new recoil simulation once it made it into a official patch. This was done to reduce the players ability to rapid fire with unnatural precision over extreme distances...a.k.a full auto sniping. With a lower accuracy for the A.I. you can at any time make them aim worse to the point they wont practically never hit...so the new feature is no problem at all in SP. b00tsy 27 Posted July 27, 2010 Ok thanks, thats to bad then. Would like to have seen it as optional in sp mode or at least being able to turn it of. But I can live with it.
