But i dont use beta so i copy the files to the addon directory of OA and dont get an error message again. that works for me ;) maxx Its true that in many cases the description beta is synonymous with incomplete features, bugs and instability. But with BIS it is quite the opposite. Basically the last officialy patch was over a year ago and since then there have been scores of beta patches. Having extensively tested it, I highly recommend the latest beta. They contain many fixes and optimisations (see here). Also, they're more stable than the last official patch. NoRailgunner 0 Posted June 7, 2013 maxx2504 try other settings eg: Texture on "Normal" , Terrain on "Normal" ; Object details on "Very High" ; Shadows on "High" (= GPU does the job) ; HDR on "Normal". Try first without any addons/mods and don't put them into your default A2OA "AddOns" folder!! So you here are a few tips that will keep your game looking good and running smooth 1. Increase Texture Quality to Very High (your 7870's 2GB VRAM is sufficient) 2. Increase Terrain to Normal 3. Increase Shadows from Low to High (thereby off-loading computation from CPU to GPU) 4. Try disabling SweetFX 5. Try the latest beta (I don't know when you tried the last beta by there have been some significant improvements over the past year) 6. I use Six-Updater (because PlayW/Six is annoying and broke even worse) . . . I see this error all the time and just click past it. . . I have a question, How do you expect people who aren't programmers to use this thing? I use it, until right now today because of the ABSOLUTE frustration and inability to make it do the SAME THING TWICE. I have been trying for the last MONTH to get an answer as to why I can not seem to tweek this thing to accept, install and use CBA_CO. It is ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING when I do what is written or suggested and get nada or even worse get completely different results EVERY TIME!. So, how do I (understanding that I don't control this stupid thing for nothin and every time I try it jacks up even more) get CBA_CO to load and WORK, without having to uninstall / reinstall dance under a blue moon on the seventh sunday of the 22nd month of the geek calendar. . . . scout13 10 Posted December 3, 2013 so i recently downloaded the latest version of CBA, never having used it before, to get some other mods that require it. i kept getting some error popups like requires community project e, or something like that, then requires ui helper, but i fixed all of that. so now when i try to load the game, ill get to the main menu, and another error will pop up on my screen. something along the lines of missing user_config\asp\asp_config.hpp. ive googled it and searched the forums but i didnt seem to find any fixes for the error. im not trying to play MP, or anything, just simply use the mission editor. i am also using the Steam version of the game. HarryAW 10 Posted February 26, 2014 So...Whenever I boot up Arma 3 and get into the menu, it always asked me to bind some keys to User action under custom controls. In which it asks to bind controls to either User action 1-4 which are missing. Then when I start up any singleplayer game give 12 seconds every time and it comes up with mission complete without me doing anything, it also happens when I'm in the editor and I preview something after 12 seconds that screen comes up and takes me back to the editor screen. SamBeast96 10 Posted June 19, 2014 I don't have OA, neither CO, just the Original A2, It won't work for me? because I tried, It told me that if I want to install ACE I need CBA, I downloaded and install the both, it looks like ACE working, it gives me the Main Menu Icon and Log, but it doesn't take effect when you play, You can't use the Menu that helps you use items and stuff, you don't get deaf when heavily shooting and etc... I tried out running just the @CBA_CO folder with main final build CO launched through OA (not the beta) and ACRE for a few minutes and it seemed to work fine, though it wasn't very extensive testing. I'm using beta of OA and A2 Warning Message: Script CA\Warfare2\Scripts\Server\Construction\Construction_any.sqf not found Doesn't matter if I removed the addon, it still gives me the error. The internet seems to not have any working links on either CBA or the cal.68 mod - which i want to make available again. I found unpacked files for both, but i´d rather repack with genuine CBA zip (although i´m pretty sure the files i got are the complete package) instead of the ghetto approach. Sorry for necrobump. Difficult times :E edit: You cannot imagine what combing 10+ year old installation folders felt like.
