Story

Set after the Fall of the Takistan National Army, Coalition Forces launch new operations in the region. ISAF Forces under NATO command arrive in Takistan with the intention of re-training the National Army and rebuilding the infrastructure of the country, but in Takistan, things never go to plan. While the new government is desperately trying to restore their war-torn country, NATO's main focus is now on defeating the many insurgent militias that have formed since the fall of Col. Aziz' Army. You will take on the role of Andrew Miller as his section carry out daily duties in Takistan and the neighbouring Shapur e-Dalanper region, from village patrols to escorting convoys through the deadly mountainous regions of Takistan.

British Army spokesman Major Tom Middleton recently made this statement regarding their presence in Takistan.

The British Armed Forces contingent in Takistan comprises of several regiments involved in the counter-insurgency campaign. British paratroopers and the mechanized regiments are supporting the stabilization efforts across the land together with several other allied armies of NATO.

Some of the links to the addons have broken files. I can't get the last to I need to play the campaign.:mad:

Sounds like youve put a lot into this, will try it out to night, i already have all the Brit stuff, so look forward to trying it out, thanks.

gives me error: "extended eventhandlers" requires addon "CAtracked2_AAV" :(

any idea where i might get this???

(been away for a long time so im a bit lost with arma2 and OA)

edit2: i have OA only

Just been trying this, looks very good so far.

a slight problem though:

the convoy keeps setting off well before I can clear each area, a radio message to move on at each town might be a nice idea

Hello Kruger (and to all those involved in creating such a great mission.)

I have a query / request. Will it be possible to get all the required addons in one pack (A British forces pack or something) in the future as it difficult to coordinate playing such missions with clan members due to addon version differences, missing files etc... And can they be updated with Yoma's addon sync for example ?

ARMA 2 + OA are required to play this campaign.

Hey, I will look into adding radio messages to notify you that the convoy is moving again. I tried to make it a little more subtle and added some music to start playing when the convoy starts moving again.

Im not sure if I'd be allowed to do that, because I have nothing to do with any of the addons used in this campaign. I guess that would be up to the creators, not me :o

The radio messages I was suggesting was for the player to order the convoy to move on, once you feel youve cleared the area. but its your campaign you must decide what works best :)

Really cool campaign.Enjoyed the first mission. In the secound patroul missions my AI Mates do not enter the vehicles cause they stuck in the Outpost. would be nice if this could be fixed. Anyways great campain!:)

Ohhh i see, thats a really good idea which I didnt think of at the time. I will add it into the 0.2 release ;)

Hey, I made all of the AI teammates playable to get around some of the stupid AI behaviour (Especially in the FOB) if the AI starts acting up, just switch to him and control him yourself to sort out any AI bugs that occur :)

I love it so far too, some funny moments when it comes to vehicles but that's only thing which distracts so far. I had to laugh though when I saw one of the convoy trucks drivers start running to the hills on the first mission, I had to go back and drive it to the airfield myself once the first two reached the objective xD.

Nice compaign!But the Landrover's machine guns are not available,so every time when I meet enemies,I have to order my AI teammate disembark,then engage enemies. This really unconvenient.

Do you have everything, Lao Fei, like UK Misc and shared? My MG's work fine.

---Yeah, I just checked the landrover addons is 1.0 version, but the lastest version is 1.1, so problem solved. Thanks.
